Alanna Wulf

SENIOR GRANT SPECIALIST

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Spanish double major from University of Montana

Writing, in many forms, has been an integral part of Alanna’s life since she was a child. She can still vividly remember reading the first scary story she wrote out loud to her 4th grade class. With an adoration for words and language, she excels at telling our clients’ stories in a way that connects to the hearts of funders.

Alanna graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Environmental Studies and a Spanish double major in 2015 and subsequently spent two years as an AmeriCorps service member developing a sustainability plan for Glacier National Park. She then worked in the nonprofit sector for four years, and as a result, she understands the importance of matching each individual nonprofits’ vision, mission, and big picture goals with the right grant. Her talent as a writer coupled with her passion for tangible change lead her to The Dotted i in March of 2022.

Born, raised, and currently living in Billings, Montana, Alanna thrives under the Big Sky. While she has been fortunate enough to travel around the world, nothing will beat Montana and the countless dirt trails left to wander down. You are most likely to catch her hanging out with her border collie/aussie mix, Winnie, a Stephen King book dog eared on her lap, a travel cribbage board displaying her dominant win on the table, and an iced coffee in her hand with Charley Crockett playing in the background.
