Becca has worked for several nonprofits and understands firsthand the vital role grants play in an organization’s ability to carry out its mission. Her passion for the outdoors sparked an early interest in science, but her love of language has since fueled her fascination with words. She is a former collegiate cross-country skier, wildland firefighter, trail crew supervisor, tree climber turned grant writer. A real Rosie Riveter, Becca’s “We Can Do It!” attitude, intense curiosity, and diverse experience bring a unique perspective to the Dotted i.

Becca grew up with Yellowstone National Park in her backyard and attributes her love of the outdoors to her childhood spent camping, flyfishing, and cross-country skiing. Her lust for adventure has brought her across the country. She currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina where she spends most of her free time exploring with her family and improving her German.
